No. The Cleansing Clay Hair Mask is designed to cleanse and condition in one step, so you can skip your separate shampoo and conditioner. Apply to wet hair, work from scalp through lengths, leave for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. If your hair is very dry, curly or heat-styled, follow with your favourite leave-in, cream or gel.
Use it in place of your regular washday whenever your hair needs cleansing. Most people begin around once a week, then adjust based on their scalp, hair type and styling routine.
It's formulated for all hair types, from fine and straight to thick, curly and textured hair, though every head of hair responds a little differently. Yes. The formula is sulphate-free, so it cleanses without the harsh detergents that can strip colour. Bleached and highly processed hair can be more porous, so we recommend following with your favourite leave-in to keep lengths soft and hydrated.
